Vampire Survivors: Legacy of the Moonspell Complete Guide - Weapon Evolutions & Walkthrough

This guide covers the progression steps, new weapon evolutions, and the Adventure mode walkthrough for the Vampire Survivors DLC, "Legacy of the Moonspell."

Stage: Mt. Moonspell

Overview of the new stage.

• Relic: Mt. Moonspell Map
• Obtainable Weapon: Night Sword (Evolves into Muramasa with Stone Mask)
• Coffin: Miang Moonspell
• Hyper Mode Unlock: Defeat the boss, Orochimario, who spawns at the 25-minute mark.

Legacy of the Moonspell Progression

Repeat the process of unlocking characters and evolving weapons.

Many starting weapons are tricky to use, so you might struggle until they are evolved. If it's too difficult, use an Arcana that grants revivals.

All passive items needed for evolution can be picked up on Mt. Moonspell.

Here are the step-by-step unlock conditions.

• Open the coffin located inside the building near the top right of the Mt. Moonspell map
  ⇒ Unlock Miang Moonspell (Starting Weapon: Silver Wind)
• Start a stage with Miang and evolve Silver Wind + Pummarola into Festive Winds
  ⇒ Unlock Menya Moonspell (Starting Weapon: Four Seasons)
• Start a stage with Menya and evolve Four Seasons + Candelabrador into Godai Shuffle
  ⇒ Unlock Syuuto Moonspell (Starting Weapon: Summon Night)
• Start a stage with Syuuto and evolve Summon Night + Duplicator into Echo Night
  ⇒ Unlock Babi-Onna (Starting Weapon: Mirage Robe)
• Start a stage with Babi-Onna and evolve Mirage Robe + Attractorb into J'Odore
  ⇒ Unlock McCoy-Oni (Starting Weapon: 108 Bocce)
• Defeat 100,000 enemies in a single run with Menya
  ⇒ Unlock Megalo Menya Moonspell
• Defeat 100,000 enemies in a single run with Syuuto
  ⇒ Unlock Megalo Syuuto Moonspell
• Survive for 15 minutes with McCoy-Oni
  ⇒ Unlock 108 Bocce (No evolution)
• Defeat a total of 6,000 Kappas that spawn around the lake in the northwest of Mt. Moonspell
  ⇒ Unlock Gav'Et-Oni (Starting Weapon: Mille Bolle Blu)

Megalo Menya Moonspell has a powerful trait that makes her immune to damage until the stage's time limit (reaching the time limit ends the stage, even in Endless mode).

Also, she has no starting weapon but possesses 108 Bocce as a hidden weapon. This weapon upgrades as she levels up, reaching its maximum Level 8 once she hits Level 80.

August 28, 2026 Additions

With the release of the "Legacy of the Bloodmoon" DLC, new characters and weapons were added to "Legacy of the Moonspell."

• Evolve the Mille Bolle Blu
  ⇒ Unlock Spiritoso (Starting Weapon: LunarMight)
• Unite the LunarMight, LunarSight, and LunarBight
  ⇒ Unlock Gekkojin
• Reach Level 80 with Gekkojin
  ⇒ Unlock Spiritosa
• Find the Pearl magatama
• Obtain Argent Flow with Miang Moonspell while holding the Pearl magatama
  ⇒ Unlock Megalo Miang

Gekkojin can also be unlocked by uniting the 3 Lunar weapons in Adventure mode.

The Pearl magatama is a passive weapon that Gekkojin starts with. It can also be picked up in the northwest of Mt. Moonspell and the Red Moon Manor map from Legacy of the Bloodmoon (you might need to play as Gekkojin or unite the 3 Lunar weapons into LunarFlight once to make it appear on the map).

To unlock Megalo Miang, you must start with Miang, evolve Silver Wind + Pummarola into Festive Winds, then evolve it into Argent Flow with Torrona's Box, and also obtain the Pearl magatama with Miang.

  ⇒ You can just start a stage with Gekkojin, select the Pearl magatama when leveling up, and then quit.
• Evolve the Mille Bolle Blu.
• Unite the LunarMight, LunarSight, and LunarBight.
  ⇒ Unlocks Gekkojin (requires a lot of coins).
• Evolve the Festive Winds with Miang Moonspell.
  ⇒ Can be evolved if you have a max level Torrona's Box after evolving the Silver Wind.
